A long overdue review  highlights of what-haves and what-nots of the movie, Beauty and the Beast . Beauty and the Beast  Director: Bill Condon (that same guy who gave you Twilight: Breaking Dawn ) Stars: Emma Watson (Belle), Dan Stevens (Beast), Luke Evans (Gaston),  Kevin Kline (Maurice),  Josh Gad (LeFou),  Emma Thompson (Mrs Potts), Ewan Mcgregor (Lumiere) Runtime: 129 minutes Opening Date: March 23 2017 Merit Points to the movie: A retelling of a tale as old as time. Based on Disney's 1991 version of the same title. The dance at the great ballroom. Anticipating for the dance was like waiting for the Quidditch game come to life. Belle waiting at the corner staircase was like watching Hermoine at her Yule Ball. Misses of the movie   Emma Watson's singing - It did not come at par wit...

Singapore Rediscovers: Changi Chapel and Museum

I've been meaning to go to this museum ever since I've heard about it but I  have not gotten the time to visit the place since it's far. ( For people living in the West, the East is a long ride home). It didn't deter me since I got plenty of time to crush this time around. The museum on the exterior looks small but don't be fooled, it is quite big inside. They managed to get some replica of the church at the same replica of the prison cell inside the museum. There's nothing much in the museum that you can actually just finish in half an hour.  Also, there's no picture taken allowed inside the premises. What are you expecting to take from visiting the museum a different view of what happened in World War 2. The whole museum was like a big storybook and the way the museum presented itself was through the recollection of the survivors. So, it was an eye opening experience.   The museum is due for a makeover in April 2018 and won't be opened...
