The other (final tour) that I did for this trip since I can't drive. I took ..  KLook/ HIS KKDay Tour : Jigokudani - Cape Chikyuu - Showa Shinzan - Lake Toya  Tour: Chinese, Japanese (and English)  Remark: The tour guide did not explain more info in English. Only critical timings were discussed in ALL language. Most info are in Jp or Chinese (if you know both, you will be fine). I find that this is better paced than the last tour because it gave us more time to eat our lunch.  Tips:   Your meeting point once you alight the bus are usually the parking lot meant for tour buses. You need to know the car plate number as there are buses of the same brand.  Bring your own food (sandwiches preferably) and have a nice little picnic by the lake in case you do not have time for lunch (or do want to eat and enjoy the park!)  Sit on the left side of the bus (opposite the driver side) for better views.  If you are keen on doing the foot bath (after your lunch), you need to bring your own towel

This is by far the earliest that I've woken up for a trip (or slept) at 3.30AM, because we need to leave the hotel by 430. We rushed to the bus (as it was already outside waiting for passenger), and reach by 0445. the shuttle bus of Hoshino Resorts  the entrance to the gondola (Alight at the first stop) we need to queue to get a number and wait for our turn before we can go to queue for the gondola. I was surprised that there were already a lot of people.  from the time your number is called to go and take the gondola, it will take some 30 - 45 minutes more  and it comes with different designs .. We were only able to ride the gondola at 0525AM.   Once you board, this is the scenery you see while you are in the ropeway  we did see the report that there is 30% chance of an unkai.
