This trip took 6 months on paper (I had booked this around Dec 2022)   before it came into fruition ( when it went out of the chatgroup). Money spend, tickets booked, hotels and tons of research was done (and Yes, you can do Hokkaido without renting a car) . You just need apps (Thank God for this because they were really heaven sent. Thank you Jorudan ) and research on which hotels has airport bus stops and luggage storage that can help you store your big luggage while you saunter off to other regions.( Yamato Transport can only keep the luggage max of 7 Days before it ships to your hotel of choice. ) Some tips:    Allot 2-3 hrs of your free time at chitose airport  (Plenty of things to do and plenty of things to shop). Planning  to travel comfort countries are relaxing because you know more about the place that you do not worry. this trip is 12 years in the making (after my last soujorn in 2012) . I am not sure if i plan to go there anytime soon after this trip.  1  Find which airlines travel to the city you are going to.  For Korea, Jeju Air/Tway Air/Korean Airlines/SQ.  You can decide to go budget or splurge. 10 Days in Hokkaido  Prelude I have always wanted to visit Hokkaido but I've been delaying it as it needs meticulous planning esp when I plan to go there without a car. (Yes, it is possible to do it. A new year means new travel.. This year, I am travelling to Myanmar. I have been preparing for my not-so-impromptu trip to Taiwan. Taiwan was not actually on the radar of the countries I should visit since I've been there a few times. This time around, it's different.
