How to Apply Japan Visa in Singapore


In case, you need to apply for visa to go Japan in Singapore, here are the requirements and some handy tips. 

* Most visa application are walk-in, do go to the embassy early. 
1. Go to guardhouse at the left side. Present IC/Employment Pass to the guard. there's a small door to the leftmost part of the building. 
2 Once in, go to the machine to get a number. 
3. When the number is called, present the number and the requirements. 
4. This time the officer in charge will look through the documents ( one by one ) - so much arrange it accordingly (to the requirements). The whole process is just under 2 minutes! Make sure you have all of the documents ready. 
5. The documents are as follows: 
     a. Passport
     b  Duly completed form + photo 
     c. Certificate of Employment 
     d. Flight Itinerary ( Reservation is fine) - But normally since it's always a smooth process, I'd already book the plane tickets beforehand. 
     e. 3 months Bank Statement ( if Employment Pass ) . This is not a requirement for PR.
     f. Photocopy of IC ( employment Pass )
6. Once everything is settled, the officer in charge will pass you a slip with a number . Return to the embassy on the appointed date.
