You need to already hop on the train at this point to reach the main terminal.
Inside the shuttle train..
After going through immigration check, you are off to see London. At the immigration, they did ask the standard question "How long are you going to be in London", and purpose of the visit. You can go together as a family and clear the immigration together ( FYI: Italy and France don't allow it. Canada does. )
Off to find the Piccadilly Line, look for this sign. (Right beside the Train sign))
Use your oyster card (pre-purchased), and take the subway ..
Now, the trains at Piccadilly lines are tad narrow. There's really not much space in between luggage and the next row of seats. You need to hold onto your luggage the whole trip because there are no restraints so you're luggage will sway when the trains are running.
Arrivals and Bag Collection are in the Main Terminal. There are signs at the airport, but they were not informative enough to say that you ought to take the shuttle train to the main terminal. Only after reaching B Gates, did we realize that we had to take one.
