UK Itinerary 2018: Day 8 - GOT Tour

Apparently, Mccomb's has 2 pickup point for the tour. The first is at the Youth Hostel , and the other at Europa Bus Centre. (If you want first dibs on the seats, you need to go to Youth Hostel.) They reserve the first row for visiting tour agents and probably elderly.

On our way to the hostel, we saw colorful graffiti.

Once the office opens (McComb's offices), exchange your voucher to a card ( where you will present this to the guide/driver) when you board the bus.

It was 60-seater coach but we were just 32.

Tour started around 9AM. It started later than any of the tours that we joined because it was just a short trip.

We reached our first stop:

[1045]  Glencloy Harbour, Carnlough

[1200 - 1225] Dark Hedges

[1300 - 1310] Photo-op: Dunluce Castle

[1345 - 1430] (45mins) Giant Causeway
It takes around 20 minutes to walk, but it was a mixed of uphill and the whole walk is quite far. If you are with an elderly, better take the shuttle back.

When you want to go in Giant Causeway, go to the route where the shuttle buses are. (Climb to the hill) and then go down the stairs where the shuttle is (but don't ride the shuttle bus just yet, walk in the same direction as the shuttle instead). If you insist on going through the visitor centre to enter the Causeway, it costs 11.50GBP per person.

It takes roughly 25 minutes to queue for the shuttle bus back. (1GBP)

[1420 - 1530] Lunch at Fullerton Arms. Drinks are not included. You can always ask for tap water.

[1545 - 1630] Ballantory Harbour

[1700 -1800]  Carrick a Rede Rope Bridge (Iron Islands)

It costs 8GBP to cross the bridge, but it's free to enter if you're not climbing the bridge.
