UK Itinerary 2018: Day 3 - Tour of Glencoe, LochNess and Scottish Highlands

We booked rabbie's cafe and decide to head out early in the morning. our tour was going to depart at 8AM. We were there just in the nick of time. 7.50AM. But I guess, if you want the best seats on the house, you need to reach 30 mins before the tour.

Promptly, we left Rabbie's Cafe (A few blocks past Balmoral Hotel). And off to a journey to the Highlands.

Tip: Seats are better on the left hand side ( opposite the side of the driver).

9.35AM
Our first stop of the day was at Pitlochry for a 15 minute toilet break.





10.05 - Leave for Lochness
11.05 - Reach Logen Loch


Start the Loch Ness Cruise...







12.30 - 1350 - River cruise ( 1.5hrs)
1520 - Stop at Spean Bridge Mill ( Toilets are free)

1550 - leave Spean Bridge Mill
1600-  Stop at Glencoe ( where the opening sequence of Skyfall was filmed)

We reached at 20:00. It was almost a 12 hr ride for the tour.

Yes, we all fall for that trick of cash rebates and promotions that once you signed up, you kind of forget about why we signed up for it in the first place.
